MEXICO - In order to reduce the risk of disease in shrimp farming in
the northeast, the National Health Service, Food Safety and Quality
(SENASICA) is conducting an ongoing health programme.
Taking place in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, the first session was provided to officials responsible for overseeing compliance fallowing and covered essential technical points that should be evaluated for issuing certificates.
The second session covered regulatory information for officers to properly enforce the fallowing of shrimp farms in northwestern Mexico.
